We collect information you provide directly: your name, email address, password, and any expense data you enter or upload. We also collect usage data such as pages visited, features used, and device/browser information to improve the service.
How We Use Your Information
We use your information to operate and improve hushpocket, process your subscription payments, send you service-related emails, respond to support requests, and comply with legal obligations. We do not use your data for advertising.
Data Storage and Security
Your data is stored on secure servers. We use encryption in transit and at rest. Access to your data is restricted to you and authorised Fulcrum staff who need it to provide support or operate the service. We do not sell your data.
Receipt Images and OCR
Receipt images you upload are stored securely and used solely to extract expense data for your records. Images are not shared with third parties. OCR (text recognition) processing occurs on our servers.
Third-Party Services
We use PayPal to process subscription payments. PayPal has its own privacy policy governing data you provide to them. We do not store your payment card details. We may use analytics tools to understand aggregate usage patterns, using anonymised data only.
Data Retention
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal or accounting purposes.
Your Rights
You have the right to access, correct or delete your personal data at any time. You can export your data from within the app or contact us to request deletion. You may also object to certain processing or request that we restrict how we use your data.
Cookies
hushpocket uses cookies solely to maintain your login session. We do not use tracking cookies or third-party advertising cookies. You can disable cookies in your browser, but this will prevent you from logging in.
